Some people said that God gave us a half part heart and we need to find the other half to complete ourselves. But how if a couple already finds their other half and have a completed heart? The answer is to commit to marriage. A marriage unites 2 humans and 2 families with their own traditions. And these are some wedding traditions with its uniqueness.

  1. Sweden

Do you want to have a Swedish friend now?

Tidong people in Borneo observe a tradition that states the bride and groom must not leave their home or use the bathroom for three whole days after their wedding ceremony and are kept under watchful guard and allowed only a small amount of food and drink. In Tidong culture, not observing the ritual is said to tarnish the bride and groom with bad luck and to give them many kids.
